Website Care and Support
A website is not finished on launch day. The software behind it releases updates, security holes are found and patched, and pages that loaded quickly last year slow down as content piles up. Left alone, a site drifts from asset to liability.
A care plan stops the drift. We keep the software current, watch for problems and fix them before your customers notice, and we are there when you want to add a page or change a price.
Care begins with knowing the state of your site:
Site Health Check
We review your site’s software versions, backups, security settings and load times, and give you a short report. If everything is in order, we say so. If something needs attention, you get a clear list with the urgent items first.
What Neglect Looks Like
Small problems on a website tend to stay hidden until they become large ones. These are the warning signs that a site has gone too long without attention.
Care Plan Cost
A care plan is a monthly service. What it costs depends on the size of the site and how much hands-on help you want:
The size and complexity of the site, whether it includes a store, and how many content changes you expect each month.
We apply software updates and security patches on a schedule and check the site afterward to confirm nothing broke.
Your site is backed up regularly, so it can be restored quickly if something goes wrong.
We watch load times and fix slowdowns, because a slow site loses visitors and search ranking.
Site Acting Strangely?
If your site is down, slow or showing a warning, call us now. We will look at it and tell you what is wrong.
Care Plan Questions We Hear Most
Do you look after sites you did not build?
Yes. We start with a health check so we know what we are taking on, then bring the site up to date before regular care begins.
What is included each month?
Software updates, security patches, backups and speed checks. Plans with more hours also cover content changes such as new pages, photos and price updates.
What if my site is hacked?
We restore it from a clean backup, close the hole that was used and check for anything left behind. Sites under a care plan are monitored, so problems are usually caught early.
Can I still edit my own site?
Yes. A care plan covers the technical upkeep. You keep full access to your content and can change it whenever you like.
